Indian Burying Place 2016

One of many resettled communities in Newfoundland and Labrador, Indian Burying Place (on the Baie Verte Peninsula) is haunting and inspirational.

This house was one of the best preserved in the community.  Photos show the layers of flooring and wall paper, as well as a stove outside from Trask Foundry in St. John’s.

This is another house in reasonably good condition -except for the door lying in the grass.

And some other images.
